This Asian doll represents the Akha people, a hill tribe living in northern Thailand. Members of the Akha ethnic group also live in Myanmar (Burma), Laos and parts of China. This doll however was made in Thailand. She is entirely made of stuffed cloth with movable jointed limbs. Wonderful headdress with pompoms, wool yarn and feathers. She has little metal bells and rings for earrings. A little discoloration of the orange waistband but fine otherwise. Stand not included.
