This is the most well known example of Mexican tourist dolls. A matching couple both wearing Charro (cowboy) costume originating from the state of Jalisco but it can be found all over Mexico nowadays. The Charro costume is worn by Mariachis (musical groups), folk dancers and by people on special occasions requiring formal attire, always completed with a large sombrero (hat). Both marked 'Mexico' on hat. Shiny glitter is used for decorations.
