Two dolls from India made in the same style, therefore going well together. The male carries goods to sell, he is holding quite a few bracelets. Like the ones the female wears around the arms. She is playing a mridangam drum. The magenta color of her veil somehow 'bled' through the other layers of her clothing but that's only visible when you lift the fabric, as shown in the pictures. Some little sequins and beads seem to be missing from her garments and the breast area is a bit dirty. The male is okay except for a little discoloration of the white fabrics. Despite these flaws they are still an interesting pair, as they are made with great attention to detail.
