National costume doll depicting a Hindu woman from India. She is wearing a Nivi style sari, the most popular sari drape nowadays. Very elegant pose, holding her veil in one hand and a bag in the other. Clay head, the rest of her body is stuffed cloth. No legs, just a wire cone shape covered with fabric. Sari fabric feels like real silk. Unfortunately some damage to the face and some thin areas in the silk at the lower back.
