Two Greek national costume dolls, not a matching pair but they go well together. On the left a female peasant doll from an unknown region in Greece, she needs further identification. On the right a so called Evzone (presidential guard) from Athens wearing the fustanella, a typical pleated skirt. Missing one black tassel from the right leg and the whites of his costume are a little discoloured by age. Female is in mint condition, her skirt is lined with clear plastic to give it shape.
