This is a very well made and pretty Santon doll from the Provence region in France. Large and quite heavy. A male carrying several clay pots, which are typical for the Provence region. The pots have a top and back handle and a front spout. The doll is for the most part made of clay, his arms are partly made of cloth over wire to make them bend. He is standing on a round piece of clay which is marked by the maker Maryse Di Landro as M. Di Landro. Excellent condition.
