Two charming old Dutch dolls that go well together. The male is marked 'Lassie Boy', the female has no marks. Both wearing the traditional costume of Volendam, a famous fishing town in The Netherlands. They are made of painted molded material (paper maché?) with bodies that are firmly stuffed with what seems to be sawdust or straw. Moveable heads and limbs. Wooden clogs. Very good condition with some brown aging spots on the white bonnet.
