Two dolls, both wearing traditional costumes of the Finistère district in Bretage (Brittany), France. The female comes with original wrist tag 'Le Minor, made in France' on one side, the other side reads 'Maie de Pont-Aven Bretagne 2'. She is beautifully dressed in velvet decorated with gold ribbons. Her condition is mint. The male is by the looks of it also a Le Minor but he has no label to prove that. His origin is Bigouden and he is carrying bagpipes. He is standing on a wooden stand, made by a former owner, marked 'Frankrijk' which is Dutch for France. Very slightly discolored to the front but hardly noticable.
