This is a black doll from Suriname, a former Dutch colony in South America. Wearing traditional Koto dress that was developed during the slavery period. Ladies wearing a koto are called kotomisi (misi means Mrs. or missis). She has a vinyl head, the rest is harder plastic. Fixed onto a round piece of wood.
